our story: Pure Blur
Founded by two lifelong friends, Tim Wilson and Kris Frost, Pure Blur was built on a love for two wheels and going fast. Quickly becoming a staple in the South’s road racing scene, Pure Blur embodied the ‘80s rock ‘n’ roll spirit. Raw machines, dangerous circuits, and big attitudes defined this epic era in racing. Safety was an afterthought, and all that mattered was the thrill of speed.
Today, American road racing is a shadow of what it used to be. Starting grids are small, tracks are closing, and sport bike sales are at an all-time low. Despite these slow times, there is still a strong and vibrant culture waiting to be set on fire again. It is our goal to resurrect Team Pure Blur, to shine a light back on this extraordinary pastime, to reignite the road racing scene, and bring the South’s two-wheel culture the attention it deserves.
